The fabrics we use are certified by Global Recycle Standard, and the Nomadix MicroTerry and MicroSuede materials have a UPF50+ rating.

"This blanket is pretty but not particularly warm. Would need something better for outdoor use."
"This blanket has been great for everything from watching the kids football games, warming up on the boat, picnics, car rides home from skiing. Grass and dog hair shake right off and the stuff sack is great for storage. Please make an even more compact version for airline travel!"
